The price of rescue

 

It cost an average of $6250- $13,000+ to rescue and rehome one of our horses. Your generous donation goes a long way to:

- acquire the horse at auction $1-1500+

- veterinary, dental, farrier $650-1200+

- boarding/groom care $1600-2600+

- training $1000-2500+

- feed/supplements/medicine $2000-3000+

- tack $1-1000k+

-manure removal-1000+

- unexpected costs- vary

(based on 3-4 months of care prior to adoption)

Our team makes every effort to keep the costs as low as possible. We accept surrendered large breed horses that are identified through our network of veterinarians and horse trainers. We look for horses that can be rehabilitated and trained to their full potential and later rehomed. We believe a safe horse is more likely to find a forever home.
